Learn Greek dance with us
We offer many opportunities to explore Greek dance through both performances and classes. If you enjoy our performances, we hope you will also join us for our open dance classes and workshops! We examine all regions of the Hellenic world, from the mainland to the islands and beyond.

Free for Dancer and Benefactor level members
Comfortable clothing and athletic or character shoes are recommended. Classes are geared toward intermediate level dancers, but all are welcome to join. Class cancellations will be posted on our Events page.
The Greek-American Political Club is conveniently located in Central Square, Cambridge, just one block from the Central Square stop on the Red line. Parking is available for $2 per hour at the Green St. Garage next door (260 Green St.).
Upon arrival, ring the buzzer, tell the host you are here for Greek dancing, and then head to the second floor.
Greek dance classes in Manchester, NH
Starting in 2005, an annual series of weekly Greek dance classes for adults was held at St. George Cathedral, 650 Hanover St., Manchester, NH. Classes were taught by Irene Savas, president of the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon, and Angela Vailas Bourassa, a member of the BLE Dance Troupe.
Private lessons
Preparing for a wedding or a special event? We can provide private, hour-long lessons for individuals, couples, and small groups on Saturday afternoons (dependent on instructors’ availability.)
For more information and to discuss scheduling, please contact BLE dance director Mike Savas. Please submit private lesson requests at least one week in advance. If you have specific song or dance requests, feel free to share an MP3 or YouTube link.
We had a private lesson from the Boston Lykeion Ellinidon in August for our wedding dance and we are extremely happy with the outcome. Our instructor, Dawn, was very patient with us and taught us several dances that we wanted to learn for our wedding. We highly recommend these private lessons to anyone interested in Greek dancing.
