There are opportunities for everyone to dance with the Boston Lykeion.
- Greek folk dance classes for fun and exercise (Watertown, MA and Manchester, NH)
- Twice weekly dance sessions with the adult group -- Schedule (Central Sq, Cambridge, MA)
- VEVA Hellenic Dance Ensemble (Dover, NH) for teens 14+
Instruction
Our instructor, Mrs Irene Savas, has almost 20 years of experience teaching Greek dances to young dancers from age 5 to 75!
Rehearsals
We accept new members throughout the year. New recruits are quickly brought up to speed and are ready to join us in our performances in a very short time! Our rehearsals are fun and informal. We're all great friends and often meet up together outside of rehearsal.

Our dance repertoire features dances from all of the Hellenic world -- that is, from Greece as it is today, as it was, and from the neighbouring regions too. Our repertoire includes dances from the following regions:

We regularly perform at Greek Church festivals, international festivals, weddings, birthdays and other private functions.
