Lesvos
Lesvos is an island in the Aegean Sea off the coast of present day Turkey. Lesvos is the third largest Greek island. The proximity of Lesvos to the Asia Minor peninsula is responsible for some of the similarities in the dances of both regions.
The dances of Lesvos include Aise and Choros tis fotias.
