IAP 2006: January dance classes at MIT

Introduction to Traditional Greek Folk Dancing This is the third year in a row that we are providing an introduction to Greek Dancing to the MIT Community. The event is part of MIT's Independent Activities Period (IAP). We will be covering traditional dances from all parts of Greece, Asia Minor and Cyprus, and look at how these dances have influenced contemporary Greek dancing. The schedule and information on the dances will be posted here. This year's series is titled "Traditional Greek Dancing for the Practical Greek Dancer". Schedule All classes run from 7pm to 9pm.
