Tsakonikos is the oldest recorded Greek dance. The step and motion of the dance is said to symbolize the labyrinth that Theseus navigated with the help of Ariadne.
Take four steps starting on the right foot moving in the line of direction. There is a pause of two beats after the fourth step.
Sou ipa mana is the name of a song that Tsakonikos is often danced to. The lyrics of this song have nothing to do with the story of the dance.
